C18. Flint rubble base, red brickwork, old tiled roof. 2 storeys and
attic, 2 flush 2 light casements with glazing bars and wooden mullions,
ground floor cambered relieving arches. Cut bracketed doorhood, fielded
door panels, 2 now glazed. Modillion brick cornice. Modern weatherboarded
lean-to on north side elevation.

No 39A, Fern Cottage, No 39, 40A, 41, 41A, 42, 42A, 43A, 43, 44 and Christadelphian
Chapel form a group.
