GV II

Probably C17 but refronted. Timber-framed; brick; old tile roof. Ground
floor with modern shop front. First floor with 2 sash windows beneath the
eaves. The left hand return of C19 brick and with the entrance to No 57A
on the left, a sash window with segmental head and a subsidiary door. First
floor with 3 sash windows, that on the left a sliding one. To the left
again, Nos 59 and 61. Ground floor brick; first floor with exposed timber-
framing and colourwashed brick infill; old tile roof. Ground floor with
a modern sliding sash window, a board door to No 61, a board door to No
59, a modern 2-light casement and an original sliding casement window.
First floor with 3 sliding casements. On the left hand return, ie at the
rear of the wing, exposed timber-framing.
