Small house. Circa early C18 with C19 addition. Rendered cob walls. Gable-ended
thatch roof. 2 brick gable end stacks, left-hand one on projecting rendered stack.
Plan: 2-room plan with central stairhall, outer rooms heated by gable end
fireplaces. C19 rear outshut added. Small, probably contemporary, outbuilding
projects from right-hand end of the house.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window front with late C19 6-pane sashes on the
1st floor and early C19 gabled porch with early C19 6-panel door behind. Thatch
roof single storey outbuilding projects form right-hand end.
Interior: fireplace in both rooms have rough wooden lintels, cloam oven to that in
right-hand room. Small original 2-light square section wooden mullion window in
rear wall of left-hand room.
Barn has straight principal rafters with curved collars halved on.
To include low garden wall in front of house with C19 iron railings on top which
have posts with decorative finials and decorative ironwork to gate.
