Cottage. Mid - late C17, some C20 modernisation. Plastered cob on stone rubble
footings; stone rubble or cob stack topped with C20 brick; thatch roof.
Plan: 2-room plan cottage facing south-east. The left (south-west) room has a
gable-end stack. 2 storeys with C20 extension on the right end.
Exterior: 2-window front of late C19 and C20 casements with glazing bars. The
front doorway is towards the left end. It contains a late C19 plank door and is
flanked by C20 raking buttresses. Rear wall shows a blocked central doorway; this
is probably the original. Roof is gable-ended to left and half-hipped to right.
Interior: both rooms have deep chamfered axial beams. The fireplace is blocked.
Roof was not available for inspection at the time of this survey.
