Road bridge over river Bovey with subsidiary adjoining bridge, possible flood arch.
Circa mid C19, parts rebuilt in C20. Granite rubble with dressed stone voissiors
and roughly squared coping stones. Main bridge has segmental voussoir stone arch with a
parapet cranked in the centre and swept out abutments which adjoin the parapets of the
secondary bridge which has much rougher lower parapets and appears to have been rebuilt
particularly on the north-west side. Segmental voussoir stone arch. To the north-east
side of the main bridge is a small square opening allowing access for the water from the
leat belonging to Blackaller Hotel (q.v.).
