Woodfields Farmhouse
II

Farmhouse. Late C18 with mid C19 and C20 alterations. Red
brick with gauged brick and stone dressings and brick plinth.
Mid C19 plain tile roof with overhanging eaves, plus large brick
gable stacks and C18 dentilled eaves band. Three storeys and
three bays. Central doorcase has gabled mid C19 open timber
porch over original panelled door and plain overlight, all door
panels now glazed. To either side there are small paned C20
window and above there are three similar, that to centre
narrower than the flanking ones. Above again there are similar
smaller windows in same arrangement. Ground and first floor
openings have flat gauged brick arches with painted stone
keystones.
