Gates, piers and railings at entrance to Queen's Park

Late C19. 3 tall cast iron piers to carriageway and pedestrian entrances. Panelled
with plinths cornices, square moulded caps and ball finials. Gates with wrought
iron scrolls and centre medallions with arms of Chesterfield. Quadrant railings
with spear head finials. Queen's Park was laid out in 1887 to commemorate Queen
Victoria's Golden Jubilee.
