Cottage. C17 with later alterations. Coursed rubble coal measures sandstone with quoins, coped gables with moulded kneelers, stone gable stack, and a stone slated roof. Two storeys, two bays, built into a bank at the western end, and a single storey dwelling at first floor level above what may originally have been a stable. East gable with 2-light chamfer mullioned window beneath dripmoulds to ground floor, beneath single light first floor openings with moulded surrounds. West gable with first floor doorway with chamfered quoined surround, and a massive lintel with dripmould above. North wall with wide quoined doorway with planked door. External staircase leads up to a blocked inserted opening.
