Swiers Farmhouse,(formerly listed 'Farmhouse 40 yds west of Church')

Farmhouse. C18, possibly with earlier core. Coursed limestone with quoins and
flush gritstone dressings. Plain tile roof, stone coped gables and kneelers.
Large off-centre stack and gable end stack, Three bay, two storey plus attics.
Later rear addition under catslide roof. South elevation - off-centre doorcase
with massive stone lintel, subsequently blocked by 2-light casement. Two 3-light
mullioned windows to west, that next to original door having a later door inserted
into its westernmost light. To east 2-light mullioned window and C20 door
covered by large C20 glazed porch. Above one 2-light and two 3-light mullioned
windows, all set considerably below the eaves.
