Stable block to the east
of Hall Cottages)

Stable block. C19. Coursed rubble limestone with gritstone dressings, quoins,
moulded copings to gables, kneelers, Welsh slate roof. Two storeys, irregular
street elevation with small tower, square in plan, at north end, slate hung,
with louvres above, and with lead-covered pyramidal roof. Single light openings,
some blocked and one first floor taking-in door. West elevation, symmetrical
with two quoined doorways, flanking single light windows with chamfered surrounds,
mostly with glazing bar sashes. First floor has single light openings with
chamfered stone surrounds, and four-paned frames. North gable has clock face.
Attached to north end, boundary wall of coursed limestone with saddleback copings
incorporating gateway with rusticated gate piers, square in plan with depressed
pyramidal caps.
