Farmhouse. 1786 with minor, later, alterations. Coursed squared sandstone with
gritstone dressings and quoins. Pantile roof. Stone coped gables with inverted
moulded kneelers. Brick gable end stacks. Two storeys, three bays. Shallow plinth
and plain eaves band. Central flush doorcase with lintel inscribed 'WJS 1786' in
incised plaque. C20 glazed panelled door. To either side, 2-light flush mullion
windows. Above, two similar and single light flush window over door. All
fenestration two paned casements. Rear crosswing to east, also with 2-light flush
mullion windows.
