House. Late C17 or C18. Roughcast with slate roof. 2 storeys. East elevation
of 5 bays, the end 2 bays are recessed and higher. Ground floor has window with
horizontally sliding sash to 1st bay; 3rd bay has window with casement, and fire
window to right; 4th and 5th bays have windows with small-paned fixed glazing,
that to 5th bay with dripstone. 1st floor has casement window to 1st bay,
windows with small-paned fixed glazing with pivoted upper halves to 2nd and 3rd
bays. Gable-end stack and cross-axial stack to left of raised roof to 4th bay.
Entrance to 2nd bay. South gable-end has small-paned fixed glazing to ground
floor window; 1st floor casement. West elevation has small 2-storey wing with
gable-end stack; lean-to porch in re-entrant angle to right; in that to left is
canted lean-to stair wing with small light; casement windows. Interior has
2 upper cruck trusses with spurs, chamfered beams, spice cupboard and spiral
stair.
