Probably C16 cottage of 2 storeys 2 windows. High pitched tiled roof half hipped
at right. Compound ridge stack at left. 1st floor now tile hung. Ground floor
early C19 red brick with blue headers. 1st floor windows half dormers under
small gables breaking eaves, Cl8 or early C19 iron lattice casements. l-storey
modern, projecting left extension. l-storey timber framed pent right extension
some timber framing visible. Similar but irregular rear. Plate glass window
inserted to protect C16 window with close set diagonal wood mullions. Modern
right extension, porch and door. Left gable end shows exposed framing with
plaster filling. Inside inglenook and old upstairs fireplace, complete exposed
timbering, old floor boards and bricks.
