(ii) The description shall be amended to read:
Boundary wall to great house. c1775. Northernmost part near house comprises a red brick wall in English bond about 12 feet in height with coping of curved and wedge-shaped tiles and one set of brick piers with stone coping and cambered pedestrian arch with 6 panelled door. Curved projection near main entrance and 3 brick piers. To the south-east of the main entrance there are some grey brick headers, a round-headed pedestrian gate with tooled keystone and impost blocks and 8 panelled door. Carriage entry with 2 large piers with wooden gates, stone cornice and blocking course. The wall continues behind the houses in Chevening village, in Flemish bond on a Kentish ragstone base with ragstone galleting and no coping. Some pilasters with stone coping. Lettering "I.H 35 feet." Past the village houses the wall changes again to English bond. 3 square brick piers with stone coping to south of southernmost house, then towards the south end, 6 brick pilasters with tooled pyramidal caps, a cambered arched pedestrian gate and carriage entrances with 2 large square brick piers with moulded stone cornice and blocking course holding wooden double doors.

2. Late C18 or early C19 high brick wall with square piers at intervals, 1 round headed door of 8 fielded panels at south end. In middle piers with stone cornice and blocking course hold wood double doors.
