House. Probably late C16 lobby entrance house, refronted and
with parallel range added to rear in early C19. Front range is
timber-framed, clad in red brick with grey headers on ground
floor and weather-boarded on 1st floor. Half-hipped tiled roof
with late C16 clustered brick chimneystack. 2 storeys and
attics 3 windows. C19 casements, some 3-light some 4-light.
Central 4 flush panelled door. Rear range has ground floor of
red brick and tile hung 1st floor with hipped tiled roof. 3
casements. C20 lean-to on side elevation. Interior has 2 large
beams. Probable late Medieval wooden carved board
incorporating shield set back to front on right side of lobby
may have been reused from an earlier house on the site as no
other earlier features were seen.
