9/73 Garden wall bounding 9.12.82 Church Street from No. 80 (The Cedars) Church Street to corner of Horn Lane (formerly listed as Garden Wall bounding Church Street to South West of No. 80 (The Cedars) Church Street

Garden wall. Late C18 (probably 1773). Red brick in Flemish bond. Extends from the south-west side of no. 80 (The Cedars) to the corner of Horn Lane, returning along it (see item 9/133), approximately 18 metres long uninterrupted. Moulded coping bricks of pedimental section. Height at NE end approximately 3.50 metres, reducing after 6.50 metres in an ogee curve to approximately 2.75 metres. At this point is a blocked doorway with flat arch of gauged bricks. At the SW end it is radiused with header bond into the wall on the NE side of Horn Lane.
