GV II
House, C16, altered in C18 and C20, now a public house. Timber framed, mainly
plastered, some painted brick, roofed with handmade red clay tiles. H-plan,
aspect E, with rear extension to N wing, C20, forming an L-plan. Axial chimney
stack in S bay of middle range. 2 storeys. E elevation originally jettied,
now underbuilt with painted brick. C20 door, 3 C19 double-hung sash windows
of 16 lights on ground floor and 4 on first floor. 2 blocked doorways with
moulded architraves. Gablet at S end of roof.
