Attached cottages. C16/C17 or earlier with later alterations and additions.
Timber framed and parget plastered. Red plain tiled roof to Lavender Cottage,
one storey and attics with feature gable dormer to left. Grey slate roof to
Quincies which is a C18/C19 2 storey crosswing to left. Red brick chimney
stacks, that to Quincies to right of gable, 2 attached diagonal shafts to left
of Lavender Cottage. 1:2 window range, vertically sliding sashes to left, C19 2
light casements with centre transoms to right. Vertically boarded door with
segmental head under a pediment on brackets to Lavender Cottage. Door to
Quincies left return. RCHM 82 (Felsted).
