TL 71 NE WHITE NOTLEY THE GREEN

7/252 The Plough

GV II

Public House. C17 origin with later additions and alterations. Timber framed
and rough rendered. Red plain tiled roof. Red brick chimney stacks to left and
right. Wing at rear. 2 storeys. 2 window range of small paned vertically
sliding sashes with pentice boards over. Central gabled enclosed porch with C20
door. C20 flat roof extension to right. Group value with Westbourn and Plough
cottages and Green Acres q.v. 7/253, 7/254 and 7/255. RCHM 7.
