House. C18. Painted stone rubble with slate roof and coped gables. 2 storeys,
2 bays. Slate dripcourse over ground floor. Windows have casements. Central
entrance with later gabled porch. Gable-end stack. Rear has outshut under cat
slide roof. Property of the National Trust, the gift of Beatrix Potter.
