Also known as Iron Bridge. C19 bridge, on 6 iron elliptical archribs - each
cast in 4 pieces and bolted together. Imposts of mixed stock and gault bricks.
Now stands well back from infilled river banks, parapets overhang arch-ribs
and have cast-iron arcaded soffit edges, and mount 12 iron stanchions with
square and diagonal cast iron open-work panels for railings.
