Farmhouse, now house. Late C17; mid C19 rear outshut. Timber frame, rendered
to front and rear and tile-hung to sides, set on tall colour-washed brick
plinth; old plain tile roof, gabled to right and half-hipped with gablet to
left; brick lean-to with old tile roof to rear; brick ridge stack and right end
stack. 2-unit lobby-entry plan. 2 storeys; 2-window range. Bracketed flat
hood over C20 plank door; flat rendered arches over C20 2 and 3-light case-
ments. Plank door to rear outshut. Interior: exposed timber frame and cham-
fered beams; room to left has chamfered bressummer over open fireplace; late C17
clasped-purlin roof with straight windbraces and of slight scantling, has
queen-post trusses flanking central stack. History: probably built soon after
it was leased to John Pack in 1686.
