C18/early C19. Stucco facade. East side has hipped, old tiled roof, west side
has slate roof hipped at western end. 2 storeys. 2 windows, sashes with boxed
frames and glazing bars. Ground floor has 6 panelled door with fanlight and altered
C19 shop front. Situated between rest of High Street and Union Street, facing
up High Street from north side of island block. Western facade has 1 sash late
C19 glazing 1st floor with shop window below.
All the listed buildings on High Street and Union Street, with the listed street
lamps form a group, together with Nos 1 and 2 and the Parish Church of St Peter
and St Paul, Church Place and with the Red Lion Hotel and No 10 East Street. (No
