House. C16, late C18 exterior, with minor C20 rear additions and restoration.
Stone walls, and tiled roof. A timber-frame of 2 bays, with a C17 stack added
at the east end, now enclosed by the later recladding of the walls; symmetrical
front of 2 storeys and attic, 3 windows. Plain roof, with end gables tile hung
and catslide at rear, hipped dormers (2 above 1) at the rear. Walls of coursed
stone with galletted joints and brick dressings; quoins, 1st floor band, cambered
ground floor openings with flat extrados, plinth. Casements, one old oak frame.
C20 small gable porch. Above the doorway is a small stone plaque, incised 1620.
Inside, much of the frame is exposed, and the rooms have been lined with vertical
pinewood panelling.
