SU 74 SE BINSTED MILL COURT

4/60 Coachhouse 20 Metres
east of Mill Court

GV II

Stable and coachhouse. Early C19. Malmstone walls and slate roof. A symmetrical
building, the front (west) having a 2-storeyed gabled centrepiece, flanked by
single-storeyed wings, with hipped roofs. The wide oval arch has a window above
and one at each side (in the wings), the windows having round heads and the
carriage arch, with key resting on impost blocks, pilasters, and plinth. At the
rear, the centrepiece has an arched doorway in the upper part, linking to the
higher ground level.
