An unequal pair of cottages. C17, C18 and early C19. Timber-framed building,
with a thatched roof. Wide front (east) of 2 storeys, 4 windows. The frame
is exposed in the centre of the front, and partly in the south gable, with
painted brickwork and some rendered infill: other walls are of painted brick-
work and some rendered infill: other walls are of painted brick and render,
the south gable being of flint with brick dressings. Casements. 2 plain
doorways, one (Queen Anne) having a thatched canopy on posts.
