Farmhouse

House. Late C18. Flint walls, with a slate roof. The front (east)
elevation is regular, of 2 storeys and 4 windows (some blocked), with a
slightly lower extension at the south side. Red brick quoins, slightly
cambered arches to openings, and cement plinth. Sashes. Doorcase with
cornice, carved brackets, Doric fluted pilasters, architrave with key,
fanlight with diagonal bars, and 6-panelled door. The west (garden)
elevation is similar, with casements, and a French door set in a plain
architrave within an open Doric porch, comprising a cornice of ½-elliptical
plan, 2 pilasters and columns (fluted) with dentilled capitals. The interior
has an original staircase and some fireplaces.
