Pair of cottages, originally one house. C17. 3 bay lobby entrance house
altered to form 2 cottages in late C18 with late C18 service addition to No 6
and C20 addition to No 7. Original part mainly flint with red brick dressings
on brick plinth with late C18 Flemish bond brick extension to right. Half
hipped thatched roof with 3 brick chimney-stacks. 1 storey and attics; 3, 5
windows. Mainly casements with cambered headed windows to ground floor with
metal casements. Eyebrow dormers. 2 late C18 brick porches with gables,
cambered heads and keystones. Plank doors, brick stringcourse. No 6 has a
large fireplace bressumer with run out stops and breadoven. Queen post roof.
