House with attached barn. House C17, barn C18. House is timber framed with some
curved and some diagonal tension braces and painted brick infilling. Modern
concrete pantiled roof hipped at west end and modern brick chimney stack.
1 1/2 storeys. 2 windows to front, irregular fenestration to rear. Front has C19
casements and modern brick and pantiled gabled porch. Attached to the eastern end
is a C18 2-bay brick barn with gabled roof clad in corrugated iron. Interior:
exposed main beams and joists, chamfered with straight stops, in both ground floor
rooms to right and left of entrance. Main beam in room to left of entrance probably
reused. Staircase in original position between chimneystack and rear lateral wall,
