C18. A substantial traditional water-mill of 2 storeys and attic, with the
former millhouse of 2 storeys attached to the south side. The house part of
3 windows: red tile roof, 1/2 hipped at south end and gabled at 2 storeyed rear
extensions. Painted brickwork, 1st floor band, cambered ground floor openings.
Casements. The attached mill (of 6 bays) has 5 dormers and an attic gantry.
3 small 2-light casements in the upper hall and one at ground-floor; otherwise
modern large casements, a full height projecting solid bay (with one large
central mullion and transom window) and a tall bay with mullion and transom
lights. Red tile roofing, half-hipped: lead flat to solid bay: painted brick-
work. Modern rear extensions.
