House set back from road at the end of a row. Built in 1815.
Rendered brick painted. Red tile roof with painted brick stacks.
Rectangular plan. C20 flat-roofed extension at rear not of special
interest. Three-storey, four-windowed facade lit by 12-pane
sashes. C20 two-storey lean-to porch at front with sash to upper
floor. Early C19 six-panel door with upper 2 panels glazed (now
resited at front of porch), flanked by pilasters with a moulded
cornice above. Single light windows with horizontal glazing bars
either side of doorway. Projecting stack at right gable end and
left gable-end stack. Interior not inspected. History; built as
a boarding school for gentlemen.
