Detached house. C17. squared and coursed limestone, stone slate roof; right
gable wall rebuilt. 2½ storeys, 3 windows, all recessed chamfer mullioned case-
ments in 1 + 2 + 2 lights, under hoods at ground floor, and a cut back string
over plank door in chamfered surround, right; 3-light flush gable dormer.
Attached left a one-storey extension with a 3-light recessed chamfer mullion
casement. Back has 2-light casements at ground and first floors, approximately
central, and to right a plank door under very small single light. Stack at left
gable. Interior not seen, but reputed to contain a stone spiral stair,
chamfered beams and a good C18 fireplace. A remarkably unaltered survival.
