Fountain. Dated 1887. Squared and coursed marlstone, stone slate capping. Arched
recess under coped gable, the fountain recess taken back square from responds, with
small radius quadrant comers to flat back; slightly pointed arch springs from heavy
2-stage corbels. Small water spout discharges over plain Pennant stone slab.
Commemorative tablet in a Shelly 'marble' reads: 'APRIL 26 1887. TO THE DEAR AND
HONOURED MEMORY OF GEORGE PHIPPS PREVOST' followed by 5-line doggerel. Prevost was
'perpetual curate' in the parish.

Total height of fountain c3 m and width c2.25 m.
