Pair of cottages, now in one occupation. Late C18-early C19.
Coursed squared and dressed limestone; stone slate roof; stacks
with dressed stone quoins (restored C20). Rectangular plan with
extensions to both gable ends. Two storeys and attic with 1 1/2
storey and single-storey extensions. Two-windowed facade with one
2-light and one 3-light double chamfered stone-mullioned casement
to the ground floor; 2-light casement far left. Two 2-light
casements with gablets above the first floor. Two C19 plank
doors with thumb latches and shallow pitched metal canopies. 1 1/2
storey extension to the right with C20 top opening casement to the
ground floor and a 2-light half dormer; top opening casement to
the adjoining lean-to extension. Plank door to the lean-to at the
left gable end. Gable-end and axial stacks. Interior not
inspected.
