Cottage adjoining Elmlea (q.v.). C17 with a later C18 or C19 extension. Limestone rubble; stone slate roofing at front; concrete tile at rear. C20 artificial stone stack imitating ashlar; 'L'-shaped main body with later extension to the gable end. Main body: 1 1/2 storeys with a single-storey extension. Ground floor from left to right: C20 six-pane top-opening casement; C19 plank door with single pane at the top: three-light wooden casement with horizontal glazing bars and a timber lintel; small two-pane light with a timber lintel. Two two-light gabled eaves dormers.
Later extension: plank door to the gable end with single-light window to the left and a pitching window above; triangular arrangement of pigeon holes towards the apex of the gable. Gable-end stack to the main body.
