Small country house. Late C19. Coursed rubble stone with
alternating flush quoins and flush stone dressings, stone slate
roof, ashlar stacks with grouped diagonally set flues with moulded
cornice. Large U-shaped range of 2 storeys (with attics to rear
range on inside). Front to north-east has 2 large overhanging
gables, and projecting gabled porch to left of centre with
decorative timber overhang and 4-centred stone archway and double
doors. Projecting square bay to right with hipped roof.
Scattered fenestration, stone mullions to first floor, some with
decorative leading, and stone mullion and transoms to ground floor.
String course between floors. Rear wing has large projecting bay
with monogram "B" in parapet wall. South-east side has 2 small
gables flanking larger projecting gabled bay. Interior largely
intact on ground floor, upstairs not inspected.
