4/14 Westend House

Farmhouse. Core probably of late C17, enlarged to front right
probably in C18 and to left in C20. Rubble stone, stone slate
roof, stone end and ridge stacks with moulded cornice. Single main
range of 2 storeys and attic with 2-storey wing to right front
forming L-shape. C20 range to left not of special interest. Core
has 2 windows, 2-light chamfered stone mullions to first floor over
3-light with square hoodmoulds to ground floor flanking blocked
original doorway. Two very small gabled 2-light dormers. Stone
doorcase in angle with panelled door and C20 fenestration. Sash
windows to rear. Internal shutters remain on ground floor.
