9/67 Two adjoining barns at Manor
Farm, to west of Manor Farmhouse
GV II

Two large adjoining barns with several additional projecting wings
on east side. Late C18. Rubble stone, stone slate roof, with
double Roman tiles to some additional sections. Barn to north has
hipped cart entry to right of centre on west with timber lintel and
double timber doors, with flanking C20 corrugated lean-tos.
Opposed low level entry with later gabled porch. Six bays, collar
and tie beam trusses with queen post struts and 2 tenoned purlins.
Barn to south has 2 similar hipped entries on west side, with lean-
to between, partition wall divides it into 4 bays to north and
probably 6 to south, similar roof structure. East side has series
of different small adjoining farm buildings and south end has large
shed projecting on east side.
