BOURTON-ON-THE-HILL MAIN STREET SP 1732 (south side) 10/55 Boundary wall and gate piers in front of Bourton House GV II Boundary wall and gate piers. C18. Ashlar limestone. Wall running from former stable block (q.v.) left of Bourton House for about 80m up hill in front of house. Up to about 3m in height. Single opening far left. Double opening flanked by square piers and moulded modillioned capping with ball finials right of single opening. Matching pair of gate piers flanking double opening far right. Triangular capping to wall right of the latter. All openings with C19 panelled doors.
