Cottage adjoining No 56 (q.v.). Late C17-early C18. Coursed
squared and dressed limestone, stone slate roof, stone stack
repaired in brick. Rectangular main body with single storey lean-
to at right gable end. Flat-roofed C20 extension at rear, not of
special interest. 1½ storeys. Upper floor lit by Cotswold dormer
with double-chamfered 2-light stone-mullioned casement with
horizontal glazing bars. C20 part-glazed door lower left with
raking canopy with stone slate roof. C20 single light with
artificial stone surround and stopped hood right. Two-light
double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement at rear. Left gable end
stack. Slightly stepped coping at right gable end.
