SOUTHROP SOUTHROP VILLAGE SP 1903-2003 14/240 Tubbs Cottage (previously listed as 23.1.52 Tubbs Cottages) GV II Formerly 2 houses, now detached house. Mid-late C17; mid C18 additions. Coursed rubble limestone; brick and rubble rebuilt chimneys; stone slate roof. Main part: 2-storey with attic; single-storey with attic part to east end. North front: 2-window fenestration to main part to right, all 3-light recessed chamfered mullioned casements with hoodmoulds; restored ground floor single- light to right, possibly originally door position. One half gable to lower part to left; single-window fenestration, both 3-light with hoodmoulds. Doorway with C20 door and gabled porch to right. Various ridge-mounted chimneys. South side: mixed segmental arched casements, all later alterations. Mullioned fenestration to lower part. Interiors not inspected.
