Middle Hill Farmhouse

GV II

Stable and attached animal pound. Early/Mid C18. Squared and coursed limestone, in
larger blocks to front; gabled C20 plain tile roof. One unit plan. 2 storeys;
front has loft opening above keyed lintel over stable door. Drystone walls enclose
small animal pound to left. Interior: chamfered ground-floor beams. Included as a
rare example of a farmbuilding and attached pound and for its group value with
Middle Hill Farmhouse (qv).
