GV II

House, now includes village shop. c1850. Coursed rubble
limestone with dressed window and doorway surrounds; dressed gable
parapets with roll moulded saddle; stone slate roof. 2-storey,
with single-storey wing now shop. Cross-wing with full gable has
side facing road: canted bay-window with hipped roof, casement
window above. 2 small attic gables face east, each with a small
attic window; off-centre porch with parapet gable; chamfered
porch doorway with 4-centred arch; 2 ashlar chimneys with paired
shafts and 1 with single shaft, all with very thick caps;
chamfered surround to shop doorway with small window to right.
All windows, except shop window to left of door, have diagonal
leaded casements. Ball finial to end gable of single-storey wing.
