The Green

Farmhouse; early C19; roughly coursed and squared thin-bedded
stone, larger quoins, slate roof. Three windows wide, 2 rooms
deep, 2 storeys. Six-panel front door, upper fielded, lowest
flush, up 3 stone steps. Open-work porch, tent roof. Either side
3-light mullion and transom windows, iron opening casements,
painted stone voussoirs to cambered arch. Cambered head to cellar
window below on right. First floor windows as below at ends. Two-
light similar in centre. Wide, flat eaves, hipped roof, lead hips.
Tall, plain brick chimney stacks each end.
