5/117 Cam monument, in the churchyard,
about 7m north west of north-west
corner of tower, Church of St. Mary

GV II

Chest tomb. Probably mid C18. Stone. Lid with inscription,
margin, scalloped corners with low relief carving. Quarter-
rectangular fluted pilasters to corners, no capitals or bases,
lowest two-fifths of fluting reeded. Sides rectangular fielded
panels, ends similar but scalloped corners. Inscription on lid
1753; later inscriptions: sides record Robert Cam, died 1683 and
his wife. From design mid C18 dated seems more likely.
