Central block 1851. Extensions on either side 1857, 1861 and 1868. Architect:
George Low. Red brick dressed with stone. Jacobean style. Welsh slated roof
with parapets, 3 curvilinear gables. Ground floor segmentally arched windows,
arcade on right. lst floor casement windows with stone mullions and transoms,
some balconies. Tower with octagonal top stage. Extension of 1857 and 1861
on right built as a Corn Exchange.

Nos 44, 44A and the Town Hall form a group.
