Late C16 timber framed house now stucco faced. Old tiled roof has central red brick
chimneystack with 4 octagonal rebuilt shafts. 2 storeys and attics, oversailing
gable ends to west and north. 2 storeys and attics, C19 casement windows. Interior
contains early panelling. VCH, IV, p 92.

No 1743 forms a group with Nos 2 to 10 (even) Wilson's Road, Knowle.
