C1840-50 substantial 2 storey 3 bay detached stucco villa. Slightly screened
one bay wing to right with blind wall swept down and extended as screen
to west. The ground floor of house has rusticated chanelling carried up
to first floor sill course. Moulded bed to flat eaves of gable end slate
roof. Broadly spaced windows, plainly revealed with flat lintels on ground
floor and 3 x 3 pane sashes but on first floor original 4 x 4 pane sashes
in architrave surrounds. Broad double Doric columned porch with pilasters
to wall, almost a porte cochere with drip entablature and blocking course.
Modernised coach house to left. The villa well back behind carriage sweep.
