C.1900. In a mixed Arts and Crafts style. Brick with stone dressings, some of them
with carved cartouches. Partly of 3, partly of 2 storeys; 4 bays wide in the rythme
two 2-storeyed gabled bays reading as one, a recessed porch bay, a gabled 3-storey
bay and a later extension on the right. On the ground floor of the 1st bay a broad
polygonal canted bay window, on the 1st floor 2 sash windows. In the recessed bay a
timber-framed porch with a gable above and behind it and, to its left, a T-shaped
window beneath a sloping roof. Above all this a canted bow window tucked beneath
the eaves of the roof. In the 3-storeyed bay the front and 1st floor windows a re
treated as one with the front floor window a shallow canted bay window; in the gable
a 4-light window. Excellent metalwork and much leaded and stained glass.
