A late commercial palazzo on a prominent corner site, built circa 1882-83. Four
tall storeys with sharply bowed corner. Yellow and white brick with ceramic brick
pilasters articulating the upper floors with stone capitals and moulded cornices
as sill courses to each floor. Ground floor has rusticated white brick
pilasters with pediment capping above cornice. Deep stone entablature with
bracketted cornice over top floor and yellow brick parapet with panelled dies
capped by anthemia. The fenestration is close set and grouped in main bays,
arcaded with set back arches on second floor and terracotta floral roundels in
the spandrels. Modern ground floor windows. Original stuccoed main entrance to
bowed corner with guilloche reveal to architrave and round arch with key, panelled
spandrels and flanking half pilasters.
